Forest assortment for Eucalyptus trees

This study was carried out in a stand of Eucalyptus sp on a property in the municipality of Campo Verde, in the central-southern region of the state of Mato Grosso. The aim was to test and select the tapering function that best estimates diameters and volumes along the stem for trees of the Eucalyptus genus, and to evaluate the performance of non-segmented tapering functions for estimating diameters and volumes at all measurement heights.
