Abstract: Cycloadditions involving fluoroallenes are extremely useful mechanistic probes. Due to the high reactivity of these allenes and the small size of their fluorine substituents, cycloadditions of fluoroallenes are free from many of the ambiguities surrounding analogous studies by previous workers.
