This is the story of three families of Joneses who grew plants, bulbs and flowers for the Melbourne market over a period of about 70 years. It starts with James Jones, son of a nurseryman in England who came to the victorian Goldfields in 1852. The book follows the live of the decendents, documenting the land they purchased and farm they developed. It tells the story of the people and their lives.
